| Environmental considerations were foremost in mind from the start of the design development process. The chair legs are made of steel tubing because it is extensively recycled. The steel is a "mill finish", which gives it a raw look. Maple wood components are from well managed northeastern US forests. The wood finish is a natural oil rub with wax, - there are no spray operations. No foam is used in the packaging process, and "green" fabrics are offered. |
